At Melodic Fruit, we believe music should be accessible for everybody of all ages. We are here to help build our music community, with industry standard tools.

Our passion is built within guiding musicians into growing, and shaping their path. At Melodic Fruit, you can take your love for music and shape your own artistry, or take your knowledge of music even further.

If you're an artist, our recording studios are the perfect place to take your music to the next level. If you're a student, maybe a parent looking to guide your children into music, or even just a music lover, our lessons are personalized to your goals.

About Chris

Owner, Producer, Teacher

Hi! I'm Chris Barry, and I'm the proud owner and founder of Melodic Fruit. I am a music producer, performer, recording artist and teacher. My goal with my studio is to make music production, creativity, education accessible for everybody, while growing our music community and family.

My love for music started as early as I can remember, and always having a piano in the house growing up certainly helped. This quickly turned into getting my first drum set, and guitar. Before taking lessons, my self-taught days included discovering recording software and practicing with like-minded friends. The lessons I really latched onto were for Piano and Drums, where I met my favorite teachers and learned from Berklee trained professionals. I've even taken a lesson personally from Steward Copeland, from The Police.

As my career grew, I fell deeply in love with music producing around '12 and creating tunes of my own -- not just for my own enjoyment but to share with the world. Early projects included FREEVØ (2015-2018), an electro-pop duo I started with a music companion. My next, and current project, would be CHYLD (2018-present) where I honed in my artistic and performing skills, opening for acts such as Future Island, Jake Miller, Goldfish, Walé, and more.

My hope for all artists, students and musicians passing through our studio is that there is something to take away at any age or skill level -- as it should be.
