LESSON POLICIES
BOOKING/BILLING
Lessons are recurring on the same day and time each week. We book lessons at least 2 weeks out from the initial contact. There are only 4 lessons/month, and one-off lessons are available at request.
If a holiday causes there to be less than 4 lessons in a given month, students will only be charged for lessons scheduled. If a teacher is out, and a sub is not available, the lesson will be attempted to be made up.
There will be no charge and no lessons scheduled on the following National/Federal Holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
PAYMENT
Lesson fees are due on the 1st of the month for that month. Payment will be set up through our Stripe automated system, with your credit card on file. Payment may also be made by Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check payable to Melodic Fruit.
START/END TIME
During lessons, it should be understood that the teacher will start promptly as the lesson should be scheduled, and will dismiss class at the end of scheduled time.
MAKE UPS
All lessons are paid for whether attended or not. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed, but all efforts will be made to find another time that works with our schedule if we are notified 24 hours before lesson time. Please email, text or call with lesson conflicts and/or rescheduling.
BILLABLE ITEMS
During the time of lessons, we may be able to bill for additional items for any necessary items. These are usually for books, additional learning materials, or anything that may help the student.
STOPPING LESSONS
You are allowed to stop recurring lessons at any time, with no credit forward on any lessons. Lessons should be canceled at least 14 days before month's end to avoid a new monthly charge.
